New plans call for a $9.6 million expansion with homes averaging 1,850 square feet.
The 300-acre campus includes several neighborhoods with varying styles of homes, including the 59-home neighborhood Oaks that opened last year. The new homes in the Poplar Chase neighborhood will be smaller single-family homes and duplexes with screened porches and luxury finishes.
“These neighborhoods are attracting individuals who want a maintenance-free residence along with the lifestyle Hoosier Village offers,” said John Dattilo, president and CEO of BHI Senior Living, owners of Hoosier Village. “Some of our residents still work, and many continue to winter in warmer climates.”
The new neighborhood will also include a dog park, community garden, and will connect to a nature trail. Hoosier Village will begin pre-selling the new units on January 24, with construction set to begin in spring.
