The county has chosen Mainstream to facilitate and provide 100 miles of fiber optic technology and Wireless LTE to the county. When the plan is completed, Warrick County will be the only county in Southwest Indiana to have a looped system.
The company would invest between $11 and $13 million in the project. Warrick County would pay an allocated $7.5 million from its Economic Development funds.
The plan could take up to 3 years to complete. You can learn more about the project by clicking here.
