Olio Launches National Tech Platform
Carmel-based healthcare tech startup Olio has officially launched its platform nationwide. The company’s software aims to digitally connect hospital and physician teams with post-acute providers in an effort to close the communications gap and provide more coordinated care for patients.
Olio currently employs 15 in central Indiana. The company has already partnered with several healthcare providers in the Midwest and, in conjunction with the national launch, is in the process of implementation with additional health systems, physicians, and post-acute providers.
"Olio started as a consulting firm aimed at improving alignment between acute and post-acute providers," said Ben Forrest, founder and chief executive officer of Olio. "After saving millions and improving clinical outcomes, it was clear the market needed a lasting, scalable way to solve the communication puzzle in the episode of care."
