Bloomington-based Hoosier Energy has promoted Adam Roberts to chief financial officer. He fills the position left by Donna Walker, who was promoted to president and chief executive officer in November.

Roberts joined Hoosier Energy in November 2012 as a senior financial analyst. He was promoted to manager of financial services in May 2015. Roberts previously spent seven years with BKD LLP.

Roberts, a certified public accountant, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.
