Andrew Breck has joined Krieg DeVault's health care practice group as an associate. He concentrates his practice in the areas of health care law with a focus on supply chain structure and operations, regulatory and compliance issues and fraud and abuse matters. Throughout his career, Breck has provided legal services in all aspects of the health care industry to hospital systems, physician groups, and individual medical providers. He has advised health care clients on reimbursement and fraud and abuse matters including analysis of subregulatory guidance and preparation of summary alerts on emerging health care law issues; counseled clients on compliance with Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment regulations; and advised on a variety of other health care matters including provider peer review, labor and employment, and corporate transactions.  

Breck previously served as a strategic sourcing manager for clinical procurement at Anthem Inc. and as a long-time associate at a health care law firm. He is a 2012 magna cum laude graduate of the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and holds membership in the American Health Lawyers, Indiana Bar, and Indianapolis Bar Associations.

Also, Micah Nichols has joined the firm's business, acquisitions and securities practice group. He will concentrate his practice in the areas of estate planning and business law. Throughout his career, Nichols has assisted numerous clients in achieving their goals through the design of comprehensive estate plans.  Whether working to minimize estate taxes, helping to fulfill charitable intentions, or working through complex family dynamics, he has provided the insights and assistance needed to create  estate plans that are tailored to his clients’ individual needs. In addition to working with clients on charitable and planned-gift-giving and formulating special needs and minor trusts, Nichols also provides counsel and assistance with guardianships, long term care planning, and estate and trust administration matters.

Prior to private practice, he completed a one-year judicial clerkship in the Allen Circuit Court in Fort Wayne, under the Honorable Thomas J. Felts, the Honorable Craig J. Bobay, and Magistrate John. D. Kitch, III.  Nichols has also served as an associate attorney with various Indiana based law firms, and has focused extensively in estate planning and elder law.  He is a 2012 graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and holds membership in the Indiana  and American Bar Associations.

      Rize to Join Restaurant List at The Yard
