WYN Industries Inc. has invested $810,000 in the move, which includes plans to add up to 16 jobs over the next few years.
The relocation was funded in part through a loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loan program. The Indiana Statewide CDC, which helped to administer the loan, says the company’s new plant is more than six times larger than its previous location in Indy.
Jake Hogue, owner of WYN Industries, says the 8,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility will allow the company to fulfill more orders for new and existing customers. The company currently employs four people at the facility.
WYN Industries was founded 40 years ago by Hogue’s grandfather. The company manufactures a variety of products for the fiberglass and bioscience industries, according to its website.
