BLUFFTON -

Ohio-based 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics LLC has announced plans to further expand its operation in Wells County. The company, which manufactures structural foam products, initially bought and expanded its Bluffton facility in 2017 and will now invest $26 million to triple its footprint.

The company has broken ground on a 240,000-square-foot expansion to the facility, which currently stands at 170,000 square feet. The latest expansion, combined with the initial move to Bluffton in 2017, represents a total investment of $41 million and will result in more than 200 new jobs.

"When we first came to town, our vision wasn’t quite this big," said David Rupp, owner of 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics. “Recently, we purchased Fort Wayne Plastics and their equipment so their customers are moving to this facility; with the additional requirements of our existing customers, our project has grown."

20/20 Custom Molded Plastics produces products such as pallets, carts, in-ground enclosures, pool panels, and floating dock systems, among others for a variety of industries. The company expects to complete the expansion in the second half of 2019.
