Trine University has announced two additions to its board of trustees. Former Congressman Marlin Stutzman and Indianapolis-based Patriot Engineering and Environmental Inc. founder William Dubois, both Trine alums, join the board, while nine-year board member Clifford Ryan has transitioned to trustee emeritus.

Stutzman represented the state's 3rd Congressional District from 2010-2017. He currently serves as managing partner of Howe-based private equity firm Osmium Holdings, chief executive officer of Stutzman Power Equipment in Shipshewana, chairman of the board at a bridal gown shop in Virginia and owner of Schonbrook Farm & Inn in Howe.

William Dubois currently serves as senior principal engineer for Patriot Engineering and Environmental, a company he founded in 1995. Dubois was president of the company for 18 years and was a past member of Trine's Industrial Advisory Board.

Chair Rick James says "I am particularly proud to welcome two fellow alumni to the Trine University board. Their knowledge, experiences and insight will add to the diversity of skills and resources we already have on the board as we plot the course for continued growth and excellence at Trine University through the 21st century."
