Erin Albert has joined the American Society for Consultant Pharmacists as its senior director of education. She has worked in a wide variety of pharmacy settings and has been a champion for the profession for more than 20 years. Her resume includes founding two companies of her own and founding a podcast under the Pharmacy Podcast Network umbrella titled ‘Pharming Your Career.’ Albert has written 13 original books on a range of topics, including pharmacy law, pharmacy practice career development, entrepreneurship, and a children’s book trilogy for girls about STEM education. She is also a co-founder of the Social Media Dames Unconference series.

As head of ASCP’s education department, Albert will pioneer the society’s educational programming development and oversee the Society’s Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacy training. The goal of ASCP’s education is to empower pharmacists to promote healthy aging through the appropriate use of medications.
