Researchers Set For Inaugural Technology Showcase

The Indiana Technology Showcase at the WestGate Academy will debut Tuesday in Odon. It will feature 30 researchers from the University of Notre Dame, Purdue University, Indiana University, University of Southern Indiana, Ivy Tech Community College and the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center. Each will have three minutes to present their technologies, followed by time to discuss the innovations and potential licensing opportunities.

The technology fields expected to be covered include medicine, agriculture and materials. The inaugural showcase, organizers say, will bring together academic, industry and government talent in a gathering sponsored by the Indiana Innovation Institute and the Indiana Office of Defense Development.
