INDOT Hosting Career Fairs

The funding includes $435 million in Local Option Income Tax money as well as an additional $70 million for local government rainy day funds.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will over the next several weeks host a series of career fairs in west central Indiana and Indianapolis. The agency says it is looking to fill several full-time positions, as well as seasonal workers to help with the upcoming winter operations.

Some of the full-time positions include highway maintenance workers and mechanics. Job seekers attending the career fairs are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and prepare to be interviewed.

Each career fair will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., except the Indianapolis event, which will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They will be held on the following dates.

• Cloverdale Subdistrict:  Monday, September 17 at 10 High Street, Cloverdale
• Indianapolis Subdistrict: Thursday, September 20 at 7105 S. Brookville Road, Indianapolis
• Frankfort Subdistrict:  Friday, September 21 at 1675 W. S.R. 28, Frankfort
• West Lafayette Subdistrict:  Monday, September 24 at 2319 U.S. 231, West Lafayette
• Terre Haute Subdistrict: Monday, October 1 at 5693 East Sony Dr, Terre Haute     
• Crawfordsville Subdistrict:  Tuesday, October 2 at 41 West 300 North, Crawfordsville
