Two Indiana breweries have received recognition from an international beer competition. The World Beer Awards honor "the very best internationally-recognized beer styles" through a series of judged tasting rounds in multiple locations throughout North America, South America and Europe. The World Beer Awards’ categories include: Dark Beer, Flavoured, Indiana Pale Ale, Lager, Pale Beer, Sour Beer, Specialty Beer, Stout & Porter and Wheat Beer.
In addition to the style wins, Taxman was the U.S. winner for "Deduction" among Belgian-style Dubbels, "Qualified" among Belgian-style Strongs, "Exemption" among Belgian-style Tripels, "Q2 2018 Saison" among Bière De Garde/Saisons and "Cache Flow: Blackberry" among Fruit Lambics.
