First Federal Bank has hired Paul Nungester as executive vice president, director of finance and accounting. He overseas the operations of the finance and accounting departments and plays a role in developing the bank’s corporate strategy.

Nungester has more than 20 years of financial management experience, including the last 17 years at Welltower Inc., a $28 billion asset REIT, where he most recently served as senior vice president and controller. He is a graduate of John Carroll University and earned his MBA at The University of Toledo. Nungester is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and graduate of Deloitte’s Next Generation CFO Academy.
