M3 Ultimate Solutions Adds Strategic Partners

Gordon Adelsberg has joined M3 Ultimate Solutions as a strategic partner consultant. He is president/owner of Adelsberg Consulting LLC. Throughout his more than 25 year career, he has helped companies of all sizes improve their performance and operate more efficiently. Adelsberg is a serial entrepreneur and also has deep expertise in lean manufacturing and process improvement. He has helped multinational firms such as Suncor Energy and Enbridge Gas Distribution. As well as bringing experience in lean manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma, he also is a resident expert in on-the-job safety and process safety.  Currently he is working with mid-market companies and private equity firms.

Adelsberg holds Master of Business Administration in Finance from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University, Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Cornell University. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Also, Bob Paden has joined the firm as a strategic partner consultant and owner of TIER321, a consultancy focused on helping business navigate change with confidence. For more than 25 years he has been the catalyst for change in numerous organizations, large and small, local and global, working to create, build (or rebuild) and ultimately launch new organizations and processes that drive bottom and top line results. 

Paden has built and evolved TIER321 to serve a variety of clients in different change situations: preparing for sale of a business, planning and execution of a revised business plan, executing a technical engineering and supply chain project plan, introducing new services, advising businesses on business development strategy and sales operations improvements while working through various scenario planning exercises to ensure clarity in future business operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

    • Walmart Details Crawfordsville Layoffs

      Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT) has announced plans to reduce its workforce at the Walmart Optical Lab in Crawfordsville. In a notice to the state, the company did not provide a reason for the reduction, but said 108 employees will be out of work by the end of September.

    • Indy Tech Vet to Lead DePauw Center

      DePauw University has tapped an Indianapolis tech veteran to become a part of its leadership team. Steve Fouty, who most recently served as chief financial officer of ClusterTruck in Indy, has been named director of the McDermond Center for Management and Entrepreneurship on the Greencastle campus.

      Acquisition of Indiana Racinos Complete

      Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corp. (Nasdaq: CZR) has completed its $1.7 billion acquisition of Centaur Holdings LLC in Indianapolis. The deal adds Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Anderson and Indiana Grand Racing and Casino in Shelbyville to Caesars' portfolio. The company says it will invest $50 million into various property improvements and IT upgrades at both facilities. Caesars says it plans to add table games to both properties, pending necessary approvals.
