National Recognition Continues For Riley

Subscribe NowRiley Hospital for Children at IU Health in Indianapolis continues its distinction as the only nationally-ranked children’s hospital in Indiana. U.S. News & World Report included the hospital in its 2018-19 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings.
The hospital received national ranking in eight of the 10 pediatric specialties included in the list. Each specialty ranks the top 50 programs in the country. Riley is ranked among the best programs for cancer (44), cardiology and heart surgery (21), diabetes and endocrinology (16), gastroenterology and GI surgery (21), nephrology (24), neurology and neurosurgery (31), pulmonology (15), and urology (9).
The only specialties that did not include Riley in the top 50 are neonatology and orthopedics. The rankings are based on a combination of clinical data and reputation among pediatric specialists throughout the country.
