Holcomb to Make FFA Announcement
Governor Eric Holcomb will Monday join officials from the National FFA Organization and AgriNovus Indiana to make an announcement regarding this year’s National FFA Convention & Expo in downtown Indianapolis. The FFA says the announcement will impact 650,000 student members nationwide.
The organization will unveil details on the inaugural Blue Room experience at the 91st edition of the convention. It will serve as the live kickoff to the FFA’s "comprehensive vision for Blue 365, which services as the latest catalyst for evolving sustainability, innovative efficiency and preparing the future leaders who will solve the nation’s critical agricultural challenges."
The announcement is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday. Holcomb will be joined by AgriNovus Chief Executive Officer Beth Bechdol, National FFA Organization CEO Mark Poeschl, Delaware-based Corteva Agriscience Vice President of Commercial Effectiveness Suzanne Wasson and student FFA members.
The National FFA Convention will take place October 24-27 at the Indiana Convention Center.
