Architecture Firm Set to Open New HQ
An architecture firm previously located in Indianapolis will Wednesday afternoon cut the ribbon on its new Fishers headquarters. RQAW Corp. says it will also detail its progress toward its job creation commitment to the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
The office is located inside a $47 million mixed-use development in the city’s Nickel Plate District, plans for which were announced two years ago. RQAW said at that time it was investing $4 million to relocate its headquarters to the development and bring 60 jobs to the city.
According to documents filed with the IEDC, the firm’s relocation effort is part of a more than $12 million plan that also included the construction of a new office in La Porte. RQAW says the overall project would create 50 jobs by the end of 2020.
The IEDC offered RQAW up to $475,000 in tax credits based on the firm’s job creation plans. Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness will join RQAW Presidents Troy Woodruff and Brad Battin for the ribbon cutting ceremony, which is scheduled for 4:30.
