INDIANAPOLIS -

The Indiana State Fair will Tuesday host a job fair in an effort to fill more than 1,000 seasonal positions. Individuals interested in working at the fair this summer will have the opportunity to apply and take part in on-site interviews.

The job fair will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Ag/Hort Building inside the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Some of the areas where jobs are available include parking, gates, security, operations, tractor shuttles and education.

"Every year we are excited to grow our team as we prepare to serve and entertain fairgoers in August," said Mark Anderson, director of human resources for the Indiana State Fairgrounds. "Without seasonal employees, we simply couldn’t offer the best Fair in the country."

Job seekers are asking to bring a copy of their resume, if they have one.
