Michael Key has accepted an invitation to become president of the Ball State University Construction Management advisory board. He is regional director of construction for Milhaus and is based in Tampa, Florida. Key graduated from Ball State in 2012 with a construction management degree. He has a range of experience, including working on project teams that managed Butler University Hinkle Fieldhouse renovations, the Indianapolis Zoo International Orangutan Center and various healthcare facilities. He has also worked on a $120 million multi-family/mid-rise hotel project in Nashville.

Key is the first BSU program alumni member to lead this advisory board. During his term, he says he will focus on continuing to grow the advisory board, bringing more resources to the program and giving the students a chance to meet great individuals and companies in the industry.

The BSU construction management program was established in 2004.
