Leah Mannweiler, a partner with Krieg DeVault LLP in Indianapolis, has received the 2018 Richard Fairbanks Circle of Hope Award for her dedication to aiding addiction recovery. She has volunteered with Fairbanks for almost 20 years and has served on both the Fairbanks Hospital and the Hope Academy boards.

In her professional life, Mannweiler practices health law and focuses on cases relating to low-income or uninsured patients, as well as cases involving mental health care providers. She also worked as executive assistant for health and human services to the Governor of Indiana for four years and as supervising deputy prosecutor of the child support division in Marion County for six years.

The Circle of Hope Award is given every year to a member of the community that works to help those with addiction and mental illness. Mannweiler was presented with the award on April 26 after at a fundraiser dinner that earned about $266,000 for aiding patient expenses at Fairbanks.
