Indianapolis-based Spot Freight Inc. is growing its presence in North Carolina. The Charlotte office, which opened three years ago and currently employs 10, could add about 50 jobs by year’s end. In an interview a year ago on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick, President Andrew Elsener discussed the company’s growth plans in Indianapolis, which include 260 new Hoosier jobs by 2023.
The company’s rapid growth has been recognized each of the last five years on the Inc. 5000 list. The new positions in Charlotte, Spot says will mostly involve sales and account management roles. Elsener says "we have found the right people in Charlotte, and we’re looking forward to expanding our presence at local universities and within the city as a whole."
