Skyline Corp. Continues Profit Swing

Subscribe NowElkhart-based Skyline Corp. is reporting fiscal third quarter net income of $1.2 million, compared to a net loss of $2.4 million during the same period last year. The results mark the fourth consecutive quarter of profit growth for the manufactured housing company.
Skyline says net sales increased more than 12 percent over the same quarter in 2017, boosted by the $5 million in sales of homes constructed to an authorized contractor of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The company says its previously-announced merger with Michigan-based Champion Enterprises Holdings LLC remains pending.
