Flexware Innovation Details New Fishers HQ
Fishers-based Flexware Innovation Inc. is planning to relocate within the city to a new headquarters in a more prominent location. The company, which also has an office in Valparaiso and a presence at the new Indiana IoT Lab in Fishers, says the $3.5 million project near the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater could break ground in the fall.
The company is seeking more than $265,000 in tax incentives from the city. Late last year, it announced plans to invest some $8 million into renovations at its current facility, new equipment and nearly 70 more jobs by 2021.
President Scott Whitlock says "Flexware came to Fishers before there was a strong tech community, Launch Fishers, and the IoT Lab. We are so excited about Fishers’ vision of being a smart, vibrant, and entrepreneurial City and believe the downtown location will help as a recruiting tool for our firm. The only downside about moving from our current location in Fishers is not being able to keep the address on Technology Lane."
The company’s agreement will go before the City Council later this month. It provides real-time business intelligence and automation solutions to customers in the manufacturing industry.
