The Buy Indiana Expo, in its 21st year, is hosted by The Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center and Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
In a recent interview on Inside INdiana Business With Gerry Dick, NWSC Crane Deputy Director for Small Business Matt Burkett discussed how an event that began in a cafeteria has grown to involve more than 200 vendors. "Trade show-style setup is typically how Buy Indiana works. It allows businesses to set up marketing material and market their products and services directly to Crane personnel who will be walking the booths," Burkett said. "Lots of lucrative contract options out there in the service world and the supply world, so there’s a wide mix and that’s typically the businesses in attendance."
