The mayor unveiled the logo and a rendering for the $5 million Penguins of Patagonia exhibit.
Plans for the exhibit were first announced in 2016, at which time the zoo said it would be added within three to five years. The zoo says the design process is being finalized and an expected opening date has not yet been determined.
The zoo says the exhibit will be built in the main entrance and will include an underwater viewing area.
