The environmental engineering, consulting and remediation design firm has announced Jeff Carnahan has been promoted to the role. Carnahan, who previously served as executive vice president for the firm, succeeds Nancy Shields, who now serves as a consultant with her own firm.
Carnahan led EnviroForensics’ technical services in his previous role. The firm says he will now lead the company’s commitment to restoring environmentally-impacted properties for private and public customers.
"Jeff Carnahan is a proven leader in the environmental consulting community, which is highly competitive and complex," said Steve Henshaw, founder and chief executive officer of EnviroForensics. "He is astute at working with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers and claim handlers to develop cost-effective remedial approaches that enable the contaminated property to be cleaned up and repurposed at its greatest value."
The announcement comes less than a year after EnviroForensics was acquired by Chicago-based Woodlawn Partners LLC and Detroit-based Peninsula Capital Partners LLC.
