The new headquarters will be located in the Castleton area of Indianapolis, where an American National University campus was previously housed. The Salvation Army announced last month it reached an agreement with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis to sell its current HQ.
Divisional Commander Major Bob Webster says "we are excited about the new location and the opportunities for increased ministry and service to the Indiana Division that will be possible."
The new divisional headquarters at 6060 Castleway West Drive, which the organization says will serve as a statewide hub, is expected to open early this summer following renovations currently underway.
