Blayne Umansky has been promoted to executive director of the Alpha Center in Muncie. The nonprofit adult day care organization provides services in Delaware County and surrounding areas for individuals age 60 and over with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Umansky previously served as marketing director. She has had decades of volunteer and work experience in support of the elderly, the homeless and victims of domestic violence. Umansky also has been on boards of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including Muncie Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
