Consul-General of Japan to Visit French Lick

The Consul-General of Japan in Chicago will Monday make another trip to Indiana. Radius Indiana will host Naoki Ito and Japan External Trade Organization Chief Executive Director Ralph Inforzato for a discussion at the French Lick Resort in advance of the organization's upcoming trade trip to Japan.

The regional economic development organization says the event will feature the discussion of the Indiana-Japan relationship "in an effort to explore economic development opportunities and collaboration." Taking place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 .m., the event will feature presentations, followed by a question-and-answer session and a reception.

Ito made several visits to Indiana in 2017, including trips to Columbus in October and Indianapolis in June. While in Indy, Ito spoke with Inside INdiana Business Assistant Managing Editor Andy Ober in Studio (i) to talk about the ties between Indiana and Japan.
