Subscribe NowThe company that has held the naming rights of the home of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever will not extend beyond the end of the contract. Carmel-based CNO Financial Group Inc. (NYSE: CNO) and Pacers Sports & Entertainment say the 20-year Bankers Life Fieldhouse contract will conclude June 30, 2019.
Bankers Life Fieldhouse is the site of more than 600 annual events. PS&E says it will pursue another title arena sponsor and continue discussing potential partnership opportunities with CNO Financial. PS&E President Rick Fuson says "CNO has been an outstanding team partner since day one of our relationship, with a tremendous impact on both Pacers Sports & Entertainment and the community. We thank CNO Financial and Bankers Life for years of dedicated partnership and we look forward to the next phase of our relationship."
CNO Financial Chief Executive Officer Gary Bhojwani says "we achieved and exceeded many of our sponsorship goals throughout the length of this partnership. CNO is proud to be headquartered in central Indiana and to support the communities where our associates live and work. We are actively working with Pacers Sports & Entertainment to identify the next phase of our collaboration together."
CNO Financial has over 1,200 employees in Carmel.
