Ruth Ann Hankins has announced plans to retire in mid-2018 as executive director of Heritage Place of Indianapolis Inc. Throughout her more than 35-year tenure, she has worked to advance the welfare of older adults in central Indiana through a center-based activities and in-home services. Through strategic partnerships with the United Way of Central Indiana and other groups, Hankins has led Heritage Place’s growth into an organization that has improved the lives of thousands of older adults in our community.
