Indianapolis-based Centaur Holdings LLC will Wednesday make what it calls a "very special" announcement regarding the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. The parent of Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville and Hoosier Park Racing & Casino in Anderson says the announcement will impact the majority of its employees.

Centaur Holdings also owns Winner’s Circle OTB properties in Indianapolis, New Haven/Fort Wayne and Clarksville. The company will hold two press conferences Wednesday, scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Hoosier Park and 1:00 p.m. at Indiana Grand.

Centaur Holdings is currently the midst of being acquired by Las Vegas-based Caesar’s Entertainment Corp. (Nasdaq: CZR) in a $1.7 billion deal. The acquisition, which in January received an early termination of the federally-required waiting period from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, is expected to close in the first half of this year.
