Franklin College has named Joseph Hornett vice president for finance and chief financial officer. He most recently served as chief operating officer for the American Red Cross – Indiana region. Hornett also previously worked for the Purdue Research Foundation, MainGate Inc., Service Corp. International, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and Indiana Bell Telephone Co.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from Butler University. Hornett also certified as a management accountant, financial manager, treasury professional, business manager and fraud examiner, as well as a licensed real estate broker.
