Indianapolis-based Coles Marketing has added Meagan Hook as social media manager. She previously served as an account executive at Dittoe PR. Hook is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She will be taking the lead on their social media initiatives.

      An orthodontic practice in central Indiana has launched a campaign supporting a nonprofit honoring former Butler University basketball star Andrew Smith. Gorman & Bunch Orthodontics says the Be The Change campaign aims to have up to 430 people join the bone marrow registry.       Indiana American Water, OUCC Reach Deal on Rate Case

      Greenwood-based Indiana American Water has reached a settlement agreement with the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor regarding its proposed rate increase. If approved by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, the deal will raise the average monthly residential water bill by about $2.50.

      Senate Passes State Superintendent Bill

      The Indiana Senate has approved a bill that moves up the timeline for the governor to appoint a state education leader. House Bill 1005 will make the state school superintendent job, which has previously been an elected position, go away in January 2021 in favor of an appointed secretary of education.
