Ivy Tech Community College Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Matt Hawkins has won an Inspire Award, which celebrates outstanding mentors. Seven community leaders total were named Mentors of the Year for mentoring excellence in the workplace and community by College Mentors for Kids. Hawkins won for the Accounting, Legal and Finance category.

He has been with Ivy Tech since October 2017. Hawkins serves on the board of directors for Indiana Campus Compact.

The Inspire Awards is an annual event designed to celebrate mentoring in the workplace and community. Nominations from around the country are accepted. The Inspire Awards benefits College Mentors for Kids.
