Larrison joins CORE Planning Strategies

Jason Larrison has joined CORE Planning Strategies as a senior project manager. Having worked for both the city and state, he has more than 17 years of experience in the public sector. Larrison most recently served on Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett’s cabinet as director of the Department of Business and Neighborhood Services, which is charged with encouraging and enhancing construction, business, and neighborhood activities. In that role, he provided direction for all of the permitting, licensing, review and inspection functions. In addition, Larrison led the transformation of the department (formerly known as the Indianapolis Department of Code Enforcement), consolidating multiple city functions.

His work history also includes serving as state architect for Indiana, where he was responsible for the building design and construction contracts for state agencies and oversight for state-owned property.

A registered architect in Indiana, Larrison is a graduate of Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning. He is the recipient of the AIA Indiana Edward D. Pierre Award for Service to the Architectural Profession, the AIA Indiana Young Architect Award, the Indianapolis Mayor’s Performance Award and Recognition from the Director of Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

      IDEA Week Offers Something For Everyone

      South by Southwest wrapped up over the weekend in Austin. The week-long event was launched to bring people together to meet, learn and share ideas and it features sessions, showcases, screenings, exhibitions, and a variety of networking opportunities. Music and film, and the entertainment industry were the main drivers but over the years the event has grown into so much more. Events like SXSW have served as inspiration for a new event to be offered this spring, IDEA Week 2018.

      Ground Broken on Major South Bend Development

      Construction on the first phase of a planned $38.5 million development in South Bend is underway. Officials broke ground Tuesday on Three Twenty at The Cascade, which will include up to 18 luxury condominiums as well as three commercial restaurants.

      Hogsett, Genesys to Detail Project Indy Partnership

      Mayor Joe Hogsett will join officials from California-based Genesys for an announcement regarding Project Indy. The mayor's office says the announcement will detail a partnership to celebrate workforce diversity and provide employment opportunities for Indianapolis youth.

      Hendricks County Bank and Trust Co. has named Jay Puckett vice president. He was also elected an officer. Puckett began his career in banking nearly 30 years ago. He will be responsible for loan development. Puckett holds a bachelor's degree from Ball State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
