Former IU South Bend Chancellor Dies

Ken Perrin led the university from 1997 to 2002 after previously serving as president of West Chester University in Pennsylvania and the University of Hawaii. He was 80.
Perrin’s educational work also included a stint as president of the Council on Postsecondary Education in Washington D.C. He retired in 2002 after his tenure at IU South Bend ended and moved with his wife, Shirley, to Annapolis, Maryland.
Perrin passed away February 8 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. You can read his full obituary here.
