Savor Downtown Indy Sets Sail

INDIANAPOLIS -

A new event spotlighting the downtown Indianapolis dining scene launches Monday. Over 50 restaurants will participate in Savor Downtown, which involves discounted menu offerings through Sunday.

Organizers of Savor Downtown Indy say it is the only event of its kind focusing on downtown. A different event, Devour Indy, runs twice a year for two weeks and includes restaurants in downtown and surrounding areas.

The company says the races scheduled between June and September in Russia, Hungary and Japan will run as planned.

      The American Red Cross has named Britt Sutton the new executive director for its Central Indiana Chapter. Sutton previously served as the director of policy for the Indiana Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services, specializing in administrative law and policy composition for the Indiana Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waiver programs.

    • New Owner Combines AIT Labs, Texas Company

      Indianapolis-based AIT Laboratories Inc. has merged with an out-of-state company. The combined business, called AIT Laboratories, a HealthTrackRx company, will be headquartered in Texas. HealthTrackRx currently operates a toxicology lab in Denton, which is outside of Dallas. Ancor Capital Partners is the private equity firm that owns the company. It says AIT's GuideMed narcotics prescription clinical support program will be based in Indianapolis.
