Strada Education Network has appointed Erin Roth executive vice president and general counsel. In her new role, she directs all legal activities of the Indianapolis-based national nonprofit dedicated to improving lives by strengthening the pathways between education and employment. Roth most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Wabash National Corp. in Lafayette. She joined Wabash National as corporate counsel in 2007, later serving as senior corporate counsel and corporate secretary before becoming senior vice president in 2010.

Prior to her time at Wabash National, Roth practiced law with Barnes & Thornburg, based in Indianapolis and Washington, D.C. She has a vast background in complex commercial litigation as well as international trade.

Roth holds a juris doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Butler University. She was selected for the class of 2002-2003 Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series.

Roth was an inaugural member of Giving Sum and is active in The Policy Circle. She also is vice chair of the Butler University Board of Visitors-Lacy School of Business.
