Summer & Fall 2018

Inside INdiana Business Television:

  • Assist in preparing for, shooting and editing weekly television segment
  • Help carry, set up and tear down equipment
  • Research background information, help come up with interview questions
  • Take notes during interviews/events
  • Assist producers as needed on weekly television show taping day
  • Help shoot b-roll for show segments

InsideINdianaBusiness.com & Daily E-Newsletters:

  • Help prepare for, shoot and edit daily video assignments in the field or Studio (i)
  • Help carry, set up and tear down equipment
  • Research background information, help come up with interview questions
  • Take notes during interviews/events
  • Help get audio, information and pictures to content team
  • Participate in newsletter edits as available
  • Edit pictures for use on website and e-newsletters

Social Media:

  • Edit images for mobile app, social media networks
  • Help post items to IIB Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. during shoots

MISC:

  • Represent Inside INdiana Business in a professional manner inside and outside the office
  • Contribute ideas to help improve our platform of business news products
  • Other duties as assigned


This is an unpaid internship that meets federal guidelines and qualifies for no compensation.

      Former Superintendent Charged With Bribery

      The former superintendent of the Vigo County School Corp. is facing bribery charges in Marion County. Our partners at WTHI-TV report Danny Tanoos, who currently serves as the director of safety and security for the district, will appear in court Wednesday morning.

      Plainfield-based Duke Energy Indiana says it has reached a settlement agreement with the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor and other consumer groups regarding rate increases to cover operating costs for the utility's Edwardsport coal gasification plant. The utility says, if the agreement is approved, customers will pay $30 million less for such costs.
