Senator Joe Donnelly’s (D-IN) office says the Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking leases for the facilities, which will be located in Terre Haute and on the west side of Indianapolis.
The leases are the result of the VA Choice and Quality Employment Act signed into law last August. Specific locations for the new clinics or a timeline for their opening has not been determined.
"Our veterans deserve the best health care that our country can provide," Donnelly said in a news release. "I’m proud to have supported legislation making these two new facilities possible, bringing health care closer to many more Hoosier veterans."
Donnelly’s office says the clinics will give veterans more health care options.
