The organization says the combined entity will solely represent the state’s seed, grain, feed, plant food and ag chemicals interests.
As part of the merger, former members of the ISTA Board of Directors now make up one-third of the expanded 12-member ACI Board of Directors.
"The goal of the merger with ISTA is to be able to expand the influence of ACI and to allow for better collaboration with stakeholders in all of the industries that we will now represent," said Rod Miller, board chairman of the ACI. “We are excited to broaden our reach and provide new opportunities to our members.”
The ACI says it will hold its first statewide Conference & Expo later this month in Indianapolis.
