Indianapolis and the Indy Fuel will Monday play host to the 2018 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic. The event, taking place at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, will feature the return to Indianapolis of Wayne Gretzky, who will drop the puck to begin the event. During an interview on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick, Indy Fuel Chief Operating Officer Larry McQueary discussed the game and the team's ongoing efforts to grow its central Indiana footprint.

In addition to the All-Star Classic format, which will feature teams from each of the four divisions in the league, the classic will include a skills competition. The skills events include Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot and Rapid Fire Shootout Challenge.

The day will be rounded out by the ECHL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will take place at a former dinner at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites. You can learn more about this year's inductees by clicking here.
