Stay Metrics Adds 'Avid Supporter' as COO

SOUTH BEND -

South Bend-based Stay Metrics has named Jerry Scott chief operating officer. He most recently served as COO of La Porte-based Vision Financial Services. Scott's experience also includes several years as an executive at Gibson in South Bend, advancing to become COO, and more than 20 years in leadership positions with South Bend-based Towne Air Frieght, a logistics provider acquired by Forward Air Corp. of Tennessee in 2015.

Stay Metrics Chief Executive Officer Tim Hindes says "Jerry will play an instrumental role in helping us continue to develop the right people, products and high-performance culture to meet the present and future needs of our customers."

Scott calls himself an "avid supporter" of Stay Metrics, saying "I believe in its mission to change the trucking industry by improving the experiences of drivers. I've been following its growth and am excited to join the team at this time." He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
