Ogletree Deakins has elevated Matthew Kelley to shareholder. He practices in the firm’s Indianapolis office and is one of 11 attorneys elected to the 2018 class of new shareholders. Kelley has an active traditional labor practice assisting both large and small employers. He has served as lead negotiator in more than a dozen collective bargaining agreements, both in first contract and in successor contract situations.

Kelley has experience as lead counsel, assisting employers with union organizing campaigns in the entertainment, health care, manufacturing, warehouse distribution and automotive sales industries. In recent years, his practice has expanded to include representing employers in arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, “hybrid” Section 301 claims in federal court, and additional appellate experience before the National Labor Relations Board.
