Trent Montemayor has joined the RQAW Corp. as a project manager in the firm’s water-resources department. As a board-certified environmental engineer, he has worked in wastewater collection and treatment-center design and construction projects throughout Indiana and Michigan. Montemayor has served as lead technical design engineer for several clients across Indiana, including the $14 million Huntington CSO Tank and the $17 million Evansville Digester Rehab.

Montemayor developed the 20-year master plan for the southern part of the city of Hobart and presented the plan at the 2014 Indiana Water Environment Association Annual Conference in Indianapolis.

Along with his board certification, he is a licensed professional engineer in both Indiana and Michigan, is a construction site certified storm water operator and soil erosion and sedimentation control inspector for the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. Montemayor is a member of the Water Environment Federation and the Indiana Water Environment Association.

He completed his bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering at the University of Michigan. An Ann Arbor native, he currently resides in Indianapolis.

Also, Jack Stocks has been named a project manager in the roads department. He has worked on roadway projects across Indiana including the Interstate-69 and 106th Street roundabout interchange, the White Lick Creek Trail to connect two large parks and the reconstruction of County Road 625 East and was lead engineer for the Maple Street Extension in Columbus.

Stocks has experience in designing interchanges and roundabouts, bicycle and pedestrian pathways, and maintaining traffic phasing. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Stocks is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Indiana and a certified professional in erosion and sediment control. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
