ISU to Open New Health Building
Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch will Friday join officials from Indiana State University to cut the ribbon on the renovated and expanded Health and Human Services building. The $64 million project will house new academic programs and existing programs currently located on other parts of the Terre Haute campus.
Construction on the project began in 2016 after it received approval from the Indiana State Budget Agency. Crews built an 87,000-square-foot addition to the building, which was constructed in the 1960s. Improvements were also made to the building’s temperature control, air quality, and technology systems.
The effort is the largest state-funded project in the university’s history. The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday.
