Governor Eric Holcomb has reappointed three members of the Ball State University Board of Trustees for four-year terms. Board Chair Rick Hall says Renae Conley, Jean Ann Harcourt and Mike McDaniel have already made "strong contributions." He adds "we have all benefited from the counsel of Renae, Mike and Jean. Our board has the strength, dedication and expertise to help guide Ball State as it continues on an upward trajectory."

Their terms will expire December 31, 2022 and officially begin January 1, 2018.

President Geoff Mearns says "as Ball State enters its second century in 2018, the members of the board have been instrumental in our success as an institution. By working together, Ball State is on the minds and in the hearts of every potential student, elected official and community leader. We are a source of pride for our alumni and our community."

  • Conley is a longtime energy industry executive and current chief executive officer of ER Solutions LLC and serves as board vice chair.
  • Harcourt is CEO of Milroy-based Harcourt Industries Inc.
  • McDaniel is executive director of governmental affairs for Indianapolis law firm Krieg DeVault.
