Subscribe NowThe Indianapolis Symphonic Choir has added Kevin Kerswick and Jeffrey Qualkinbush to its board of directors. Kerswick is a senior manager at Crowe Horwath LLP. He is a certified public accountant and provides assurance and consulting services with a specialization in the non-for-profit and government sectors.
Qualkinbush is a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP. Since 2000, he has served as finance counsel to public school corporations throughout Indiana. Qualkinbush has been involved with vocal music in many different genres, including choral, for more than 40 years.
Celebrating its 81st anniversary season in 2017-18, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir is dedicated to excellence in the performance of choral music, the creation of new choral masterworks, and to outreach and education throughout the Indianapolis community.
The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of choral music advocates with an overall dedication to the mission of the institution. For 81 seasons, the board of directors has ensured the ongoing success of one of performing arts’ greatest treasures as the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir gives voice to classical music.
One of the oldest and most active symphonic choruses in the U.S., the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir’s returned to New York City for an acclaimed performance at Carnegie Hall during the 2016-17 season, and will travel to Washington D.C.’s The Kennedy Center for a performance of Penderecki’s Credo as part of the SHIFT festival in April 2018.
