Caucus to Convene to Replace Rep. Lloyd Arnold
A caucus of local Republican Party precinct committee members will Monday night name the successor to State Representative Lloyd Arnold (R-74). Six candidates are vying to finish out the last year of Arnold’s term in the General Assembly. In October, Arnold was named director of law enforcement for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
He has served District 74, which includes parts of Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry and Spencer counties, since 2012. Arnold served in the U.S. Army and later, the Indiana National Guard and was deployed to Iraq as an executive officer in 2003. He received the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge for his service. Arnold started and eventually sold the first Servpro franchise in Crawford County and later served as executive director of the Orange County Economic Development Partnership.

The Indiana Republican Party will stream the event on Facebook. The caucus will begin at 6 p.m. Central Time, November 6 at Perry Central High School in Leopold.
